The problem for most of us is that we are consuming all our foods from the acid food group. This creates inflammation, which puts tremendous stress on our liver and kidneys. Because your kidneys can only eliminate a fixed amount of strong acids per day….the rest is stored in your tissues and organs where it does daily damage.
Highly acidic foods are: meat, dairy, white and artificial sugars, non-organic chemical laden foods, hard alcohol, coffee, soda, pasta, over the counter supplements and protein powders…..to name the major ones.
ACIDIC FOOD DAMAGE 101
The acid produced from these foods include uric, sulfuric and phosphoric acids. As these names imply, they irritate and burn everything they come in contact with. The first signs of damage from a highly acidic diet are inflammation and mystery pains. Over the years they progress into chronic diseases.
To put it simply….these acids…
> wear down joints: Arthritis
> wear down the myelin sheath on nerves: Multiple Sclerosis
> wear down organs at the cellular level, creating an avalanche of free-radical damage: Cancers
> wear down the filter system in the kidneys: Kidney disease and Chronic stones
> wear down and scar the cell walls: Fibromyalgia
> wear down the delicate structures of the brain: Alzheimer’s Disease
And so it goes, creating a population of people fighting their health daily.
